Música Pop/Rock - Scott Richard Kline, mais conhecido como Scott Weiland (27 de outubro de 1967, San Jose, Califórnia - 3 de dezembro de 2015, Bloomington, Minnesota) foi um músico, vocalista e compositor norte-americano, ex-vocalista do grupo Velvet Revolver, ficou conhecido mundialmente como líder da banda Stone Temple Pilots.

A polícia descobriu mais droga no autocarro que transportava Scott Weiland na digressão pela América do Norte.

Aquando da morte do músico, as autoridades descobriram uma pequena quantidade de cocaína e detiveram Tommy Black, baixista da banda de suporte de Weiland, os Wildabouts. De acordo com o TMZ, «mais dois sacos com droga» foram encontrados pela polícia.

No interior havia xanax, duas qualidades diferentes de comprimidos para dormir, o opiáceo de combate às dores Buprenorphine, Viagra e Ziprasidone, um antipsicótico usado para combater a esquizofrenia e bipolaridade. Weiland foi diagnosticado como bipolar em 2001.
