Tudo começou em 2007 com a edição de Farewell, onze belíssimas canções que projectaram Sean Riley and The Slowriders como autores de uma das melhores estreias discográficas da história da música produzida em Portugal. A relevância dada a Farewell e consequente exposição mediática da banda elevaram a fasquia para o segundo disco - e a banda respondeu com um inspirado Only Time Will Tell.
O primeiro single do álbum, o sucesso radiofónico Houses And Wives, apresenta Sean Riley ao piano e Filipe Costa na guitarra, num crescendo harmonioso de intensidade melódica.
This Woman, o segundo single retirado de Only Time Will Tell, tornou-se rapidamente no tema com maior airplay na carreira de Sean Riley and The Slowriders.
A beleza de Hold On, a grandiosidade de Tell Me Why e a frescura de Talk Tonight (o terceiro single) confirmaram Only Time Will Tell como um dos grandes discos de 2009.
Aclamado pela crítica e sustentado com grandes prestações ao vivo, caso do sucesso alcançado nos festivais de Paredes de Coura e Alive, a banda aponta agora baterias para o mercado internacional. Com os dois discos editados no Benelux (Bélgica, Holanda e Luxemburgo) pela Sonic Rendezvous a banda já apresentou cinco showcases na Holanda e foi escolhida pela Antena 3 para representar Portugal no importante festival Eurosonic (Groningen-Holanda).
