Alphaville é um grupo musical alemão de synthpop que ganhou popularidade nos anos 1980. A banda é mais famosa pelos seus dois maiores êxitos, "Big in Japan" e "Forever Young".
Inicialmente, o Alphaville foi composto por Marian Gold e Bernhard Lloyd. Chega Frank Mertens, que se associa à banda, em meados de 1982 e 1983. Os três, então, começam a preparação de um disco, e lançam Forever Young. A música título do disco passou então a ser o maior sucesso da banda, garantindo-lhes o espaço no cenário alemão e mundial.» in Wikipédia.
