Juan Manuel Iturbe (born June 4, 1993) is an Argentine footballer who currently plays for Quilmes in the Argentine Primera División. His playing position is winger .

[edit] Club career
Iturbe started playing first team football with Cerro Porteño on June 28, 2009, at age 16, on a game against Libertad valid for the 21st week of the Paraguayan Primera División.
Being 17 years of age, Iturbe was not under professional contract with Cerro Porteño.[1] Therefore, he signed for Quilmes on a free transfer in August 2010.[2]
Iturbe's talent has drawn comparison with fellow Argentine Lionel Messi.

He was part of the Argentina "sparring" squad, formed by the most promising youth players in Argentina, taken to the 2010 FIFA World Cup to train with the senior squad. He also chose to play for Argentina at the U-20 level. He is on the 20 player squad that will take part in the 2011 South American U-20 World Cup Qualifying.[3] This tournament also gives two berths to the 2012 Summer Olympic Games in London. A imprensa argentina enalteceu a atuação dos hermanos na vitória por 2 a 1 sobre o Brasil, na madrugada desta segunda-feira, pela terceira rodada do hexagonal final do Sul-Americano Sub-20. A alegria maior ficou por conta da exibição do meia-atacante Iturbe, considerado o "novo Messi", que marcou o segundo gol da partida.
Segundo o jornal Olé, o fato do jogador estar em campo é "um roubo". O periódico ainda exaltou a "atitude" dos argentinos - que asseguraram vaga no Mundial da categoria, em julho -, contra "um Brasil com menos um desde os cinco minutos".
